Nice surprise passing through a cow town. Great value. Excellent sushi. Spring roll was as good as I have ever had.
Great food great service
Love this restaurant. Its clean and good service. The food is always great.
This place was beyond amazing can't wait to try the sushi!
Great prices, good menu choices with fresh, non-greasy food. Great stop for those rolling through town for a quick bite!
We had a nice experience the waitress was very pleasant. The food was delicious.
Love this place, awesome food, glass soda bottles, in love with the peanut sauce, clean establishment, wheel chair accessible, lovely lighting, and much more.
Great service, yummy food, not much wait, reasonable prices (especially during the lunch special before 3:30).
Happy family only way to go
When we first started going here, the food and service were good. Over the last 3 years or so, both the food and service have gone downhill.
Very nice.
Great food, artfully presented. Large menu of standard and distinctive Thai dishes with a few options from elsewhere in Southeast Asia. Bright, modern decor.
Staff is great. Can't really say that about the food. I believe in the 3 strike rule since I love baseball. All 3 times I was disappointed and was nauseated after eating. Me personally, I will never eat here again. Please, do not let my experience sway you. They are overall good people. Just didn't suit well with me.
The food is tasty and the portions are good
Excellent food and customer service!
Very good style quiet nice place and good food
A great place to eat. I go here often when I am in town. Not many good options in southeastern colorado, and it's great when one is both consistent and has a good selection of tasty food.
The food was delicious and well portioned. I would definitely recommend. The staff did a good job as well. The restaurant was very clean and the spacing of the tables allowed for a very comfortable night of dining out.
Have to say we found this little Thi restaurant here in Lamar Colorado that was a pleasant surprise indeed. Really clean and the food was excellent the service outstanding. We would highly recommend it to anyone.
We had our Christmas party here and everything was excellent. The food was, as always, delicious and plentiful. The staff was professional, friendly and very efficient.
This is not Thai food.. Got take out and 5 minutes or so before the chef gave the waitress my order, he walked over to the kitchen entry and looked at me. Maybe I looked like someone he could give noodles, chicken and some veggies without any sauce or spices and call it Pad Thai idk, lol... the overall experience was cheap and the price was more than i would be willing to pay for what was recieved.
I travel a lot. This is my second time here. I love it. Food is great, staff are friendly (Asian friendly). Store is clean and elegant. 5 stars.
Great food at a great price in a very nice looking place. I'll be back someday, it was wonderful😋
Food was fresh, made to order. Sweet and spicy soup and the wontons are a must!
The food is AMAZING and omg the sushi! If you get a chance stop and treat yourself!
Norimaki rolls are back at Thai Spicy Basil, which some folks think of as sushi. It was good though.
You have got to be kidding me! You call that Thai food? I was absolutely the worst excuse for Thai food I've ever had.$28 for the smallest entree I've ever had was a salad and two spring rolls. Save your money.
WARNING this resturaunt has violated so many health codes!!! Eat at your own risk.
I get food poisoning everytime I go here. So bad to the point I'm calling the health department today because it is a very serious problem here. Do not go unless you want to vomit for days straight.
Wow. Out in the middle of nowhere is this great little Thai restaurant. My meal was fantastic. Quick. Enough extra to put in a box and have later.
There is no spice. The most bland Thai food I have ever eaten. I ordered the pad Thai. The flavors had none of the Thai spices normally associated with this dish. No scallions or peanuts. Tasted like chicken soup. My husband ordered Mongolian beef. It was basically a plate of onions with a couple pieces of meat. His lo mein noodles tasted like spaghetti. The waitress was in a huge hurry, which made no sense, since the restaurant was nearly empty. The food was edible, but didn't taste like Thai.
Very good. Server is good. Food is good. The sushi isnt raw at all, but still tasty and healthier than fast food
Good food. Small portion though.Drunken Noodles and Thai rolls in picture
The food here is amazing. The Orange Chicken was incredible! Crispy breading, with a good thick sauce that wasn't overly pungent/vinegary. This has to be close to the best Orange Chicken I've ever had. The other dishes I had were similarly tasty. The decor is soothing and well done, and they have calming Asian music playing in the background. Just the thing after a long day at work. The service was attentive and prompt, and I really enjoyed myself each time I visited.
Food was yummy and good service!
Food is always fresh, never had a bad meal, competitively priced, plenry to eat
The food here is always fresh and of great quality, as well as fulfilling portion wise. The atmosphere is pleasant and the cleanliness is always a plus. The restaurant's restrooms are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair as is the table arrangements..Small parties might be available if set-up in advance because there really isn't a separate area for groups.Outside the front door is a ramp to enter the restaurant for easy wheelchair access. The prices are great considering what you get for your order.Overall I rate this restaurant a 5, because we've never had a bad experience or bad food.
On my way back to Denver after a week long road trip across America I had to stop when I saw the Thai Spicy Basil sign. When I walked in I knew it would be a great dine in experience. The staff were so very polite. The food was beautiful and the taste was just what I needed. The Teriyaki Chicken entree was delicious. THANK YOU.
Nothing special! Had the chicken pad thai and it lacked flavor and had no spice. Also had no peanuts. Underwhelming at best. This restaurant could also use a good cleaning. We typically make Lamar a stop on our way south, will check out more local places to eat!
Decent Thai restaurant here in Lamar, Colorado. Good, friendly service.
Good food for a decent price.
Pad thai not the best but their dumpling are AMAZING! Also their orange chicken isn't overpowering. Definitely would go again even though the prices are a touch high for some things.
Plate full of greese! Was absolutely disgusting! Only thing that tasted right were there wontons and spring rolls. Wont be coming back!
